_MG_9605I have noticed that most patients who do not participate in their healing process generally do not get better. For those patients who chose not to change their life style despite the fact that they are contributing to their health issues, I jokingly say to them “Your pain is my gain!” It may not be entirely a joke if they keep coming to see me without changing their life style. A patient’s participation is needed to fly through the turbulence of his or her health.

I ask my patients to refrain from any extreme or repetitive physical activities that may contribute to their problem. Good quality sleep is the most essential prescription for good health. A sound and peaceful mind and regular exercise make a person sleep better. The dietary discipline only works after a person worked with those issues.

It does not matter what you eat if you eat with a disturbed, unfocused mind as your food will turn into poison after being ingested. If you eat without doing any exercise, your body does not have the ability to digest and assimilate the nutrients since physical activity help internal organs to function properly.
